Scellig Stone

Scellig Stone completed a BSc at Queen's University in Kingston, is a medical graduate of the University of Toronto, and is currently on research pursuing graduate studies. Under the supervision of Dr. Andres Lozano, Scellig is investigating adult mammalian hippocampal neurogenesis through the use of deep brain stimulation in animal models. Scellig has received numerous academic scholarships and awards, including the William J. Horsey Neurosurgical Resident Prize for outstanding clinical research, and the Canadian Space Agency Life Sciences Training Program Scholarship. He has lived in British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and the North West Territories, is a pilot in training, and is a SCUBA Divemaster. He also enjoys canoeing and spending time with his family.
