Suneil Kalia

Suneil was the top ranked graduate of his BSc Honors program in Immunology at McGill in 1997. He then entered the University of Toronto MD/PhD program working with Dr. Andres Lozano at the Toronto Western Hospital. Suneil has won multiple awards at national and international meetings for his research and has published papers in journals including Neuron and Scientific American. His medical school awards include the Golden Stethoscope Award and the Walter F. Watkins Scholarship for high academic standing in clerkship. On graduation, Suneil was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honours Society. Outside of his academic pursuits, Suneil has avid interests in music and film. He also enjoys skateboarding and tae kwon do..
