Ryan did his undergraduate studies in kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. He entered the University Toronto medical school program in 2001, and graduated with honours standing. In the summer of medical school, he worked in the laboratory of Dr Charles Tator. He was the recipient of several research scholarships and awards in medical school. He enjoys hockey, squash, toy modeling and skydiving as hobbies. |
